After 12 years, VID Group has contributed and developed from directly companies (all company have established at the locations in North of Vietnam to implement industrial zone projects), concrete, the year 2006 Vietnam Investment Development Group is abbreviated to VID Group has been established and been leaded by Mrs Nguyen Thi Nguyet Huong, chairman of the board and CEO. The first, VID Group has 06 member companies. From 2006 up to now, The quantity of member company is increased 12 companies. All company essentially business operate to investment and development infrastructure industrial zones, to attract investment, supplying investment consultant service and implement real estate projects. If like last, VID Group only investment in Ha Noi Capital but from 2007, VID Group's directly companies has projects at 06 provinces and cities in North Of Vietnam including: Ha Noi, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Vinh Phuc, Ha Nam, Nam Dinh. Beside the main operation is invetsment infrastructure and attract investment, VID Group has extended business operate to auxiliary service includ: investment consultant and support service, design consultant service, security service to make more the advantage for investors (VID Group's customers) at industrial zones.

At early years established, as to gather VID Group's strength to contribute and develop member companies, with steps in the right direction, VID Group has overcomed an obstacle and difficulties to becomes big scale and prestige investor of industrial zone infrastructure in Vietnam. Up to 2009, VID Group was owner of 09 industrial zones as below:

- Quang Minh industrial zone: 344.4 ha (Ha Noi capital)

- Nam Sach industrial zone: 63 ha (Hai Duong province)

- Phuc Dien industrial zone: 87 ha (Hai Duong province)

- Tan Truong industrial zone: 200 ha (Hai Duong province)

- Ha Noi Dai Tu industrial zone: 40 ha (Ha Noi capital)

- Dong Van II industrial zone: 263 ha (Ha Nam province)

- Thach That Quoc Oai industrial zone: 160ha (Ha Noi capital)

- Minh Quang industrial zone: 335 ha (Hung Yen province)

- Lifan motor Noi Str. industrial workshop crowd: 15ha (Hung Yen province)

With the investment and development industrial zones, VID Group has invested and developed residential quarters for these industrial zones. Including:

- Service and residential quarter for Nam Sach industrial zone: 28 ha (Hai Duong province)

- Service and residential quarter for Dong Van II industrial zone: 48 ha (Ha Nam province)

Among 2006 - 2008,  not only about business oparations but also VID Group has expanded business operate to invest real estate projects at Ha Noi Capital and next locations. VID Tower 1 Office Building for lease project at 115 Tran Hung Dao - Ha Noi, VID Tower 2 Office Building for lease project at 517 Kim Ma - Ha Noi,  accommodation and office complex Building project at Nguyen Trai - Ha Noi, trade Center and housing project at Me Linh District - Ha Noi, etc were implement urgently.
