Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank of Vietnam (hereinafter referred to as Maritime Bank) was established on July 12, 1991 in Hai Phong port city of 01/GP-NHNN under license. 

Maritime Bank is one of the first commercial bank in Vietnam. Until now, Maritime Bank became a joint-stock commercial bank to develop strong, sustainable and create trust with customers. Current charter capital at 2240 billion. According to the roadmap development, the charter capital of the Maritime Bank will increase 3000 billion and total assets reached VND 60,000 billion in 2009. Human Resource steadily increased over the years from 30-60%, from 483 employees in 2005 to 2000 employees in 2009. The number of transaction increased strongly from 16 points in 2005 to 100 transactions of the transaction in mid 2009 and is expected to reach 130 children at the time of last year. 

In recent years, along with the development of the Maritime Bank is a strategic partner in the investment incentive policies of VID Group. With a series of cooperation agreements were signed, the Maritime Bank loan support for many investors VID Group customers with incentives and flexible method to be committed in the cooperative agreement. Time to VID Group and Maritime Bank will have long-term strategic agreement on many preferential policies for investors and foreign customers of VID Group to ensure sustainable development goals.
